QLD: Police seek answers on weapons find at school

GOLD COAST, Feb 5 AAP - Police with metal detectors are searching a Gold Coast primary
school after two rifles were found partially buried beneath a classroom.
Children as young as eight found the rifles, one of which was loaded, as they foraged
under a building at Musgrave Hill State School on Monday.
Despite a public appeal for information, police are yet to establish how the guns came
to be stashed there and why police were not alerted until Wednesday.
