Fed: DFAT warns Australians to keep out of Somalia

CANBERRA, Feb 3 AAP - Australians have been warned to avoid all travel to Somalia -
including sailing off its coast - in the wake of ongoing violence, banditry and kidnapping
in the war-torn east African country.

And Australians travelling in the western African country of Nigeria have been advised
not to fly with local airlines because of doubts over the maintenance of their planes.

The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) today issued updated travel advice
for both countries.
